The Sangker River cuts through the town center, which is filled with interesting colonial architecture. The region has numerous Angkorian and pre-Angkorian sites. Some of the most interesting are Wat Ek Temple, Wat Baset Temple and Phnom Banon.


Kampot Kampot, it is once again developing a reputation as an appealing retreat with quiet beaches and wonderful seafood. It is located on the bank of the Kamchay River and acclaimed for the beauty of its forests, waterfalls and an amazing view of the Gulf of Siam. The seaside resort of Kep is located 30 km from Kampot, it is a beautiful coastal area was once the favorite holiday spot for Cambodia's French-influenced elite.


SihanoukvilleSihanoukville, is Cambodia's only deep-sea port. The beaches of Sihanoukville remain among the most unspoiled ones in Southeast Asia although tourism has increased in recent years. It is a perfect getaway with facilities for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving or just sunbathing are the perfect getaway. Boat trips are also available to many of the nearby islands.
